*SPANISH* Starting a Conversation: Kids & Alcohol Pamphlet

How hard is it to start a conversation with kids and teens about the dangers of alcohol?  It’s not as hard as you think, if you are able to involve them in a discussion, rather than lecturing them.  This pamphlet offers tips to parents, counselors, teachers and anyone who works with kids.

Topics discussed are: asking questions, listening and being patient instead of reacting, tips for do’s and don’ts, help with refusal skills, consequences of drinking, media influence and what to do if a child is already drinking.
